10 things you're probably wondering about Modern Dental Care

 
  1. How long has Modern Dental Care been located in Medford, Oregon?

    Modern Dental Care has been serving Southern Oregon for over 25 years! Originally located on Riverside Ave., the office moved to the lower level of the Rogue Valley Mall - do you remember the large fish tank in the window? Good times. We are now centrally located on N. Pacific Highway next to Wild River Pizza in our own beautiful building. This location has been our home since 2009.

    Si!  Yes!  We welcome Spanish speaking patients and your family and friends!  We have staff who are native speakers and can help make your whole experience on of comfort and understanding! 

 

  1. Are you taking new patients?

    We love adding new patients to our Modern Dental Care family!  Typically we like to schedule an initial oral exam, x-rays, and cleaning for a new patient's first appointment. Check out our New Patient Page for more information. 

  2. Do you take my insurance?

    The easiest way to find out if we accept your insurance provider is to call us to check. The most common providers include Regence, Delta, United Concordia, Cigna, Aetna, and Metlife. 

  3. What type of COMFORT CONTROL Methods do you offer?

    Local anesthesia is a numbing medication at the site where the dentist is working that causes profound loss of sensation. Valium and Halcion are oral pills that cause moderate sedation and assist in relaxation.  The doctors at Modern Dental Care want you to be comfortable and relaxed and will work with you to achieve a satisfactory level of comfort as they work.

  4. What if I cannot make it to my appointment?

    If you cannot make it to your appointment, please let us know in advance! Our policy is a phone call notification at least 24 hrs before your appointment to avoid no-show fees. 

  5. How often should I schedule a hygiene exam and Cleaning?

    Our hygienists recommend scheduling an appointment every 3-6 months depending on your oral health needs. Sometimes it is hard to plan 6 months ahead, so your hygienist can help you schedule your next appointment while you're still in the chair. We recommend annual x-rays to assist in providing the highest possible care.

  6. Can I get teeth whitening supplies at your office?

    Of course - cosmetic dentistry plays big part in creating your stunning smile! We offer at home teeth whitening kits. This kit includes custom trays we create after a quick in-office appointment.

  7. Do you servE children?

    We love kids and will work with children over the age of three if they are comfortable and agreeable .  You may also choose to bring your younger kids for a tour of the office and to meet the staff ahead of an appointment. Let us help them not be afraid of the dentist! Grab a take home bag with a new toothbrush, floss, and more!

  8. Are you open on the weekends?

    We are open Mondays thru Fridays with an occasional Saturday available.  Similar to Chick-fil-A, we are always closed on Sundays.
